Author help with flash text

i am using dreamweaver to create my site and last night i added a bunch of
flash text, some which were links. this morning when i checked the site in
dreamweaver, the text was not functioning. i had to go in and reinsert the text
file in order for it to play. this is my first time using dreamweaver as well
as flash text. what am i doing wrong? or is this ust what happens everytime?
