| Wanted to know if that file is too big for 56k users? my site is
http://www.pizzapalace.cjb.net and I did it in flash, nothing too fancy but I
liked it a lot better than the HTML site I had befor.. thanks for any replys!

| 800+ is definitely too large for dialup. Think about splitting into chunks
of max 50Kb using loadMovie() if you're serious about targetting dialup
users.

| IMHO there's a lot of room for optimization on your site. Even for broadband,
the site doesn't have a lot to offer for its size. You might want to consider
generating smaller thumbnails (in Photoshop or whatever) for the photos, and
only load the larger ones when clicked. The same goes for the maps. Also, I
wouldn't put music on a site like this, it's more likely to annoy users than it
is to amuse them, and it's a great size-reducer as well.
Considering the small amount of actual textual content, the site is way too
big.
