| Hi !
I'd like to convert a photo gallery that uses PHP and mysql to store
information about the photos (title, description, etc.) now to another one that
uses flash. I've searched the web but I couldn't find any examples of this.
I've seen some photo galleries built in flash but they don't use a BD to store
the information. Can flash access a BD ? Any help, please ?
Thanks in advance

| Wow, talk about odd. I'm checking the forums for the first time in YEARS to
look for this very same thing..and run into this query at the top of the list!
I thinking of switching from Gallery to something Flashed based and had the
same question. Anyone?

| Came across this a while back:
http://slooz.com/trinkets.php?proj=expose
it's total flash and pretty neato. Doesn't require a db, and has pic descs.

| Flash can most certainly connects to a db. If you are new to this start by researching Flash Remoting and ColdFusion MX just enter this in to the search at the top of the Macromedia homepage.
