Author named anchors and text areas

when using named anchors to anchor parts of a flash file with text areas on
them, is there any way to stop the backspace button from navigating back in the
users browser instead of letting them delete the text they are currently typing
in the text area component (or input text box). This has been driving me
crazy.
I don't want to actually have to bind the delete key to something else, I just
want it to delete the text being typed like the user would expect it to- but if
i also want the functionality of named anchors this causes a conflict.

Has anyone else come accross this problem and solved it, or does anyone have
any ideas?

Thanks a lot!
