perhaps someone could give me a clue about why the dynamic text renders like
sh?$%!!
the crisp text is all "standard" .
tabbing on home>login doesn't work.

the buttons used to looks finer in player 7 export, now they have a nasty
pixelation around their edge.

Try breaking the text apart in MX. In 2004 I had this text problem with pixel
fonts. What I found that if I moved the text at all in inside a movie clip or
on the stage the text would render like that. What I did was find the location
of text delete it and put new text in that location without moving.
