problem with scaling

| Hey everyone...obviously I'm new here, and am relatively new to flash. I'm in
the process of building a site, and I've been able to figure out a lot of what
I've wanted to accomplish, after going through a "classroom in a book". Anyway,
I'm hung up now on one thing, and no matter where I've looked, I can't figure
it out.
When you go to the splash page, it loads just fine. When you click enter on
the splash page, and go into the main site, it loads fine, but then if you
resize the browser window, it scales everything down, distorting the text and
everything else. It doesn't do this if you try to resize the browser window on
the splash page. I have the same publish settings on both documents (default
settings) so why is the splash page fine but the main page doing this stupid
scaling thing?
If you go to
[L=www.thinkbluemarketing.com/blueconsulting]http://www.thinkbluemarketing.com/b
lueconsulting[/L], you'll see what I'm talking about. (The client hasn't
submitted the actual info for the site yet, so at the moment I just have
generic words to show myself that the links were working.)
Secondly, I've not been able to find out how to do this either: I would like
to have it where when one resizes the browser window, the content stays in the
center of the window, not scaled down or anything, no matter what the size,
like this:
[L=www.thinkbluemarketing.com]http://www.thinkbluemarketing.com[/L]
If you enter the site and try to resize the window, you'll see what I'm
wanting to get for my site when the browser window resizes.
I tried putting the following actionscript in the first frame of my document,
and it wound up freezing on 7% of my preloader when going to the site:
fscommand("allowscale", "false");
fscommand("fullscreen", "false");
I then tried putting that same actionscript on the last frame of my flash
document, and had the scaling problem, which is still there. I simply can't
figure it out.
Sorry for the long post, but I've tried everything I can think of, and sorry
if I'm missing something completely obvious. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks!

you use load movie instead.
