Sound Synch Problems

| I have a sound attached to a keyframe in the main timeline of my movie. The
sound plays BEFORE the playhead reaches that keyframe. Event/Stream options
don't seem to make any difference. Has anybody else had this problem, and do
you know of a fix or workaround?

| are you doing stream or event? I've run into the issues with both, but better to talk one ata time ;)

| It's an event sound. There's a technote that says there is a known problem when
you place a sound in the first keyframe of a clip, but in my case it's midway
through the main timeline. The note says that it's usually caused by a corrupt
file. The suggested fix is to copy and paste all of the frames into a new
document, but this didn't help me at all. I've tried calling a different sound
as well, in case the corruption was in the .wav file.

| I HATE that problem, I get it all the time. The only fix I have for it is to
put a blank key frame before and after to space out sounds on the timeline and
never enter those bordering frames. In particularly irritating examples I've
put a gotoAndPlay() two frames before that jumps over the bordering frame
directly to the sound. that way the playhead doesn't get near the sound until
it is needed to play.
