Author Preloading one scene at a time.

I've got a movie that is too large to load all at once. Instead, I'd rather
have it load one scene at a time in the movie. As in you click on a
"portfolio" button and it preloads that section, and if you click the
"contact" button it preloads that section also before letting you view it.

I was looking through the threads and I didn't see anything that answered my
question, please direct me if I missed it. The only preloaders I can find
are full movie loading ones.

There are a lot of sites that do it, http://www.mandarinaduck.com is one
example.

Thanks!
Brad

Can't be done. Scenes do not exist outside the authoring environment and
once loading starts there's no way to stop it with as. Only way is to divide
your movie into separate swf files and use loadMovie() to load them at
request.
