need help using components (ScrollPane)

I am pretty new to components and am having problems with one right now.
I am using the ScrollPane. I am displaying a movie clip by using the
export for AS and then attaching that movie clip. It all works good when
I export that movie.

The second part now is that I am loading this movie into another movie.
The MC displays fine in the ScrollPane as is, but as soon as I am
importing that movie into the other movie it does not show anymore. How
can this be?

I also wanted to modify the component, for example take out this line
around the scroll area. How can I do that?
