We have a main movie clip that has inside several movie clips that are
buttons that should trigger a sound. How do we get the others to stop to
sound when one of them is triggered?

We can get them to sound, but not to stop. Is it something you have to tell
each movie clip, or to the main movie clip?

Before playing a sound call stopAllSounds(); function which stops all current sounds.
