Author Are Flash Movies and DHTML incompatible?

Recently I added a Flash Movie to one of the pages on my website. The presence
of the movie upsets the DHTML drop-down menu and makes it impossible to use,
while clicking on the DHTML menus causes the Flash movie to flicker. Are the
two incompatible on the same page?

DHTML+Flash is a major problem because flash sits as an active x object on the
webpage which means that you will have issues with layer order etc.

and flash movies. it works for most browsers. it is really useful when
you wan tto avoid coding.

Much appreciated, Don, I'm checking out the Allwebmenus site now. I had not heard of them before.
