Are Flash Movies and DHTML incompatible?

| Recently I added a Flash Movie to one of the pages on my website. The presence
of the movie upsets the DHTML drop-down menu and makes it impossible to use,
while clicking on the DHTML menus causes the Flash movie to flicker. Are the
two incompatible on the same page?

| Much appreciated, Don, I'm checking out the Allwebmenus site now. I had not heard of them before.
