I am building a website for the first time with Flash MX. I have already built
it in regular html code and would like to take the table I have in one of the
pages and put it into the Flash page or something like it. Does anyone know an
easy way to do this or a simple way to create a table like scroll pane that
will be easy to edit. I will be constantly adding and deleting things from the
table which is why I did that in the first place. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

Hi,
i would suggest you use a component which simulates a html table.

There is a paid component by Macromedia which does that. It's the data-grid
component:

http://www.macromedia.com/software/...ew/volume1/flas
h_components.html

If you want something free (lesser functionality):
http://www.sephiroth.it/file_detail.php?id=113.

If you're new to coding in flash, then there is no option but to draw the
whole thing on the stage :)

Does that help?

Cheers,
FF

fernandesfran,
Thank you for your reply. I will look at the sites you gave me and see if that helps. The one component page looks like it might be what I need.

Thanks,
Chris

JMAC,
Here is the website I am currently using. www.hilliardlawnequipment.com then
click on New Equipment. The table is in there. I do not have anything in there
currently. I am getting ready to update it along with the website. That is the
format of the table though. I can add rows when I need to add new equipment and
delete them when I want to take equipment out. It is a nice format and I would
like to try and incorporate something this easy in the Flash page.

Thanks,
Chris
