| ok here's my problem. i run a website for a counter-strike clan. and im fairly
new to flash. i have recently had HardDrive failure issues and had to buy a new
harddrive and all i have from the site is the .swf file. and i need to edit it.
but not knowing that i would have to format my comp i protected it and now i
cant import the file to edit it. is there anyway that i can unprotect it and
make it editable again1?

| Sorry mate, but you need the .fla-file to be able to edit the file, then export it to .swf.

| Protecting from import mean the SWF cannot be imported into a timeline.
When you import an SWF, it does not become editable, you just end up with
some graphics on the stage. You need the original FLA if you want to edit
it.
Backup Backup Backup!!
