| I am relatively new to Flash design. I have fairly small SWF files that I load
in my personal site (two or three, all less than 4KB in size).
When arriving to the site for the first time (before site gets cached I
guess?) the load time is ridiculous -- could take a minute or two just to load
the Flash content. The browser (IE and/or Netscape) appear to be frozen during
this time... then after a minute or so has passed, the content just appears and
everything is fine.
The webhost I use is very quick for download and upload, at least fast enough
that 4KB should take a blink of an eye. Could it be something related to their
servers?
Is there a special way to load the content into the HTML that I don't know
about? This slowness happens everywhere, I've seen it on 5-10 different
computers in different locations.
This is the site:

Thanks so much for any guidance. Like I said, I'm relatively new to this and
might be missing something obvious.
