Flash Cursor does not Interact with Buttons

I followed the tutorial at:
http://www.macromedia.com/support/f...tom_cursor.htm. The
new cursor is visible and moves accordingly, but it does not interect with
buttons like a normal cursor does. What action script is lacking in order to
make the new cursor interact with buttons?

Mouse.hide();
startDrag("", true);
}
