Background: Simple dynamic text field with a scrollbar component
attached in MX 2004, loading in a text file w/ HTML tags.

The scrollbar works as it should in IE 6 and Firebird 0.7, but when I load up
Netscape 7 the functionality disappears. The text field gets populated, but you
can't scroll down. [L=Click Here]http://www.designbydave.ca[/L] to see what I'm
talking about (use IE/Firebird, then Crappy-scape)

I've already tried myTextField.refreshPane() after loading in the text file
without any luck.... what am I missing here?

First thing to check would be the player version. You have published for
Flash Player 7 and it would not suprise me (as this is a relatively new
player) that the NN browser you checked with does not have the latest
installed. Also check on a couple of platforms with the same browser; after
all, might be incidental.

I changed the publish settings from Flash 7 to 6 and that did the trick. Thx for the help!

Actually the scrollbar should work fine for Flash Player 7 (I still use it),
but if you can live with publishing for FP6 then, I guess problem is solved.
I still would check the player version in Netscape though; but hell ...
that's me ;-)
