Hi,

I want to create the effect of clouds moving towards the user with words
appearing.

How would I go about creating the clouds part of this. Do I create a few
graphics files outside of Flash or can this be done in flash?

just find an image of cloud and give motion tween... try to make this as a
movieclip.
if u can create cloud... tht will be easy for u to animate... and it won't
jerk as bitmap does.

u can creat graphics outside flash. export those graphics as jpeg or png and
import in flash..
if u import as png... u will get transperancy.

I used that tutorial before and it worked fantasticly, unfortunatley
client binned my idea for it but i still think it was great.

I love the effect too and have bookmarked it - just in case. Unfortunately whenever i visit this site i get distracted and end up playing that dam shooting game.
