You can create an entire website using just FlashMX. However, it's very
helpful to also have a graphic program like Photoshop or Fireworks.

I used to have a combination website between HTML and Flash but one day I
decided to change it to 100% Flash and have been very happy with the result.
The only downside is that the browser "back" button will not behave the way you
would want it to. Most websites default to the main page as "index.html" so you
need to have your main file compatible with whatever naming convention your
host requires and in the "file" "publish settings" make sure you have the HTML
box ticked. Flash will automatically create the HTML file required for use with
the web browser and load the SWF file. It is useful to have software that will
let you edit HTML code, however, because I cannot see that Flash lets you add
metatags. What I do is let Flash create the HTML file and then use Dreamweaver
to add the metatags. You can use something besides Dreamweaver but I would
advise you not to use anything like Microsoft Word because it adds a lot of
unnecessary overhead to your file that you don't need and the performance will
suffer. The one big advantage of having the site all Flash is that you never
lose control like you do when a browser moves from one page to another. One
very useful trick is layering where, you load movies at different levels but
always keep the level 0 in control.

Are there any tips or tutorials that you have or know of that I could use? Any resources would be awesome. Thanks.
