Author Movie won't stop!

Hi everyone

This should be easy: my movie won't stop. There is a stop action on the frame
AND the button action is gotoAndStop

Attached is the file, the problem is when testing Vagabond.fla and clicking
the "Enquiries" link at the bottom. It happens for a few others I've tested,
but the zip file has only the "Enquiries" external swf

I'd really love it if I could get some ideas on this

Sometimes if the frame rate is fast, or if there are a lot of other things
going on at the time, Flash will miss or delay a frame or action.

Try putting a stop action 5 or 6 frames after the frame you're targeting
with your gotoAndStop command.

I think so. Think carixpig should upload the file so we can have a look.

why did put a _root.stop() in frame 19 instead of just stop()? There are a
couple of other things I tried. The only place where I see the movie does not
stop is on Contact. I fixed that by changing the frame name to Contactus as
well as in the function call and I also changed the file name you want to load
from Contact.swf to Contactus.swf and it works for some reason I do not
understand. I also wonder why you put the stop() command before the loadMovie
command rather than after it. Logically the stop() should not perform any
further action script and yet it does. I have seen a huge problem with all my
work in converting to Flash 7 in that the stop() command does not seem to be
honored any more. I believe there is a problem with the new Flash because the
behavior is very different from Flash 6.
