| First I created the text (Sample). Then Converted it to a button. I went to the
"Over" Frame and: Inserted a keyframe and inserted a blank movie clip, an inch
below the text, "sample". Next, I opened the blank movie clip and added a
layer. On one layer I added the text "Sample" as I originally had it and moved
it left until it was right against the edge. Then I converted it into a
graphic. Next, I added a keyframe at 10. and moved the graphic right, at the
center. Next I inserted a keyframe at 20: I scaled the graphic down to a small
size; In the properties panel, in the color section, I chose Alpha and set it
to 0%. On the other layer I made the text, Sample but bigger. Next I converted
it to a graphic. Then I set the alpha to 33%. I inserted a key frame at 10.
Here I moved the graphic ontop of the other graphic. Then i inserted a keyframe
at 20 and scaled the graphic bigger. I also set the alpha level to 0%. Now on
both layers, on frames 1 and 10: add motion tween. Finally, double click on
each graphic to edit it. Select the textbox with the black arrow tool. Then do
Ctrl-B on the keyboard twice. Then go back to the button. and Ctrl-B (twice)
the Up and Over Frames. Insert a keyframe on the "Hit" frame I made a box (with
any color fill) just big enough to cover the text. Now, it should work!
