Hi, this is my first of many messages no doubt so I would like to say hi. As I
already have done
Well, when working in Flash MX, I have a small bitmap image that I'd like to
edit from within Flash, as I click the edit button in the property inspector I
launch Fireworks. This is all well and good but it launches Fireworks 4 and not
the MX version that I have recently installed. I have looked in the preferances
of Flash but I cant see no way of changing the external editor for bitmap
images..

Was your Fireworks MX an upgrade? Even if it was, you should be able to
uninstall Fireworks 4 to fix the problem. I just wonder if Fireworks MX is an
upgrade whether it needs Fireworks 4 to remain installed to operate..
