The site www.alex-edwards.com doesn't work on MACs ! Is this something to do with the embedding property on the html ?? I am sure someone out there has had similar problems.

Take a few minutes to read through the know issues with Flash on Mac's www.macromedia.com/support/flash/technotes.html. I don't develop for macs (thankfully) but it's most likely a player issue.

Yeti Monster,

You have 1 very major error in your HTML code:

<object classid="clsid:D27CDB6E-AE6D-11cf-96B8-444553540000" codebase="http://download.macromedia.com/pub/shockwave/cabs/flash/swflash.cab#version=5,0,0,0" width="650" height="400" align="middle">
<param name=movie value="Movie025.swf">
<param name=quality value=high>
<embed src="Movie022.swf" quality=high pluginspage="http://www.macromedia.com/shockwave/download/index.cgi?P1_Prod_Version=ShockwaveFlash" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="650" height="400" align="middle">
</embed>
</object>

The 2 values I have highlighted should be the same.

There are a couple of reasons why this might have happened, most likely you updated the code by hand, it is ALWAYS best to publish a new version from within flash.

I had a dig around your files and discovered that Movie025.swf worked fine on my G4 powerMac.

If you publish again and re-upload it should all work.

Hope this helps.

I guess it is a simple typo: I succeeded to view the Flash Movie on the
Mac by changing a fraction of the html script namely changing
"Movie022.swf" to "Movie025.swf"
