| Hope I am posting this in the right forum cathergory...
I have a weird font issue happening when I export flash movies in Flash MX.
The odd thing is so far is only happing in a couple of movies, specifically.
Text I have typed, and looks fine in the .FLA.. is missing letters, sometimes
entire words after it is exported to .SWF.
I had a large movie which which exports just fine. To make it more dial-up
friendly, I took sections of the movie (using "copy frames" /" paste frames"
from the file menu) and created a series of shorter which load into the main
movie using the loadmovie command.
there are 5 segment toatal, but in 2 of them, parts of the body text, which is
in "trebuchet ms" drops out. not blank space, but it drops out as if it had
never been there ( reflowing the paragraph). I have "trebuchet ms" .. installed
in my OS. the other movies still export and show just fine. the text shows just
fine in the .FLA's. It's only when I export these two movies that I run into
problems. I should also point out that the sections I copied from the original
LAGRE Flash movie export just fine ... no text problems.
Has anyone experienced this in here? is there a specific setting I should look
at when dealing with this problem?
