| My site isn't running as smooth as it should. The frame rate is 41. I've cut
down on using masks and alphas. I'm using a preloader, of course. I ran
through every frame to cut down on file sizes. I'm still very unsatisfied.
WHAT FACTORS SLOW DOWN ANIMATION???????????
I'm at my wits end. Of course my site runs quite smooth when I test it on my
hard drive, but I'm not getting the same results online (my host, www.dr2.net).
Here's the link, www.hibredproductions.com/temp. I hear it looks awful on a
Mac, G5 even. Please with sugar on top, does anyone have ANY suggestions???
I'll post the files, if you think you can help.

| I saw your site..the idea is nice and simple.I does not go smoothly as it
should be.So,let me think with you:
are you using repeated symbols in the animation(it does not affect the size
but it takes alot of processor calculations)?
are you sure that the sound is the least suitable size?(by the way linkage
slow the performance).
are you using hi resolution pictures or resized it inside flash?(it could
increase the size of each frame)
are you sure the the animation uses connected lines with the least sigment
needed?
I hope these thoughts help..
Hope you find the solution.
