Author Flash: Problems with masks when exporting

Before I start, I'd like to thank whoever helps me out here....I've been
racking my brain with this for awhile. To tell you the truth, I have this gut
feeling that the problem is the stupidest thing that I just forgot to do or
something...well anyway, here goes:

Basically, I'm having an issue with masks from a button being "shown" when I
export or test a movie.

Now, the masks I use on the main timeline show fine and hide whatever, but the
problem is coming specifically from buttons that I'm using masks in. I use
masks in the buttons to hide parts of a jpg that are contained within it.

The button shows fine with the mask when I'm looking at the main Flash window,
but if I test movie or export, I see the shape of my mask, and the rest of the
picture behind it, so obviously I'm confused...

I've locked the mask layers within every button as they should be, and my
layers are organized well enough as much I can tell.

I've included screenshots of all the necessary screens to help anyone
understand my issue:

(NOTE:Screenshots are at 75% the size of original res)
