| I'm no newby in flash but what is the best way to implement a piece of
video as a button in flash mx? I know how to use a controller to create
a animated button in flash so i imagine i can use this. But how do i
import the movieclip? png sequenece? avi? mov?

| i guess if your importing video clips from (lets say) video camera
make your flash movie
create a MC
import (quicktime.mov - i'm on a mac and quicktime only makes sense)
it asks to embed or link
you want embed (flash to create individual frames of the sequence)
link is ok if you use a preloader and have the space and speed on your website to use it
import the first frame (or whatever poster frame you want to use) for your button symbol
make the button
give it action (lets say rollover action, so the movie starts on rollover)

| I'va had the best luck with bringng in the animation, then exporting it as a bitmap sequence which you can then bring into the button's stage
