| Thanks very much for that, I have made it work although I don't really understand how, so I have some learning to to do.
Is the dynamic text field meant to show the number of clicks? If it is that aspect is not working yet but I can re-instate my own counter movie if neccessary.
When you say using scenes to navigate is bad practice, can you explain why?

| sorry,the counter should not be the instance name of the textfield but the variable name.
scenes do not exist outside the flash authoring environment.

| Hi
From other posts I have read, the reason using scenes should be avoided is
because when the fla is published it converts the whole movie into a single
time line and there are some issues with how the swf handles scene names and
action script linking them.
I hope I understood that right, and that this helps
