Ok - I am in some serious frustration with myself, and with flash. Many websites I visit have crystal clear bitmap animations which look stunning. Now, with this simple animation that I've created with my logo (which is bitmap) - I can't get it to render
in the SWF file without appearing to have jagged edges. I've done what the help section says to do by bumping up the jpeg compression to 100%, making sure I've converted to a symbol. All those things I have tried and I still can't get it to look right. In
the FLA file it looks fine, but when it's published to a SWF it distorts and gets jaggedy.

Any ideas? Would be greatly appreciated. Thank you,

Jesse Drujon

Danny,

I've tried tracing and making it a vector, but it just doesn't look acceptable. I think i may have to scratch the idea of using my logo in this animation :( Thank you for the suggestion though. I appreciate it.

I don't know the solution, but have been having this problem for years and across multiple versions of flash. any bitmap may or may not appear jagged at normal size and resolution when saved either as a jpeg, gif or png or png-24. terribly frutrating.
