Hi,

I cleaned everything out & divided up my site like you said, got it down from 4Mb to 928Kb divided over 8 swf.s.

Having a bit of trouble with some of the preloaders though. I've got a preloader with masks in it & only parts of it appear on top of other pages, think it might be something to do with levels.

Lozzz, try this:

First create an empty movie clip the size of your content area, name it's instance content.

use this for your button actions
on(release)
{
_root.content.loadMovie("myMovie.swf");
}

Only use the _root path if your content movie clip is on the main timeline, if it's inside something you'll have to reference it inside that clip.

As for your preloader, what doesn't show up?? If it's dynamic text boxes make sure that you embed all the characters for it, to do this click character in the properties panel, and then click the radio button next to all characters.
