| site looks quite good. a few things tho.
when you press HOME 2wice you then get the fixtures list.
the fadeed bg for the text is tooo faint. the text is black and needs a
fairly white-ish bg to come thru. also i am not sure that the text needs to
be bold all the way thru.
i do very much like the picture transition. how did you do that?

| I really like your transitions you have used I agree, the bg is too faint. I also notice the initial loading time was a little slow. Another comment I have is there is no way to turn off the sound. I know I can just turn off my speakers but I like havi
ng sound control. Overall its a great site!

| coming along good, Giles! did you compose the background track? How long is it? Steamed or preloaded?
I would suggest a higher frame rate, I think it would look smoother but not be a burden on weaker computers, because the transtition isn't heavily involved. Simple and nice.
I know it's not done, and this stuff you're probably already thinking, but here's a few more thoughts:
1) main nav buttons need hitState indicators of some sort, and a rollOut would be nice(stick a rollOut ani in the Up state if it's a button symbol, it works nicely)
2) preface animation of layout building in
3) slightly smarter nav system that doesn't reload where you already are, and has an out transition for the pages.
Generally, the more advice I give, the more it shows I like what's done so far; great job!
cheers

| well, the built buttons(symbols) don't have a rollOut option. However, if you put an animation in the Up state(just like you put an animation in the Over state) then when it loads the button, it will play that animation. However, waht many people dont thi
nk about, is it will load that frame every time you remove the mouse from the button(because the button is returning to the Up state) so you can use it like a rollOut.
The other way, is to use movieClips. Use frame labels to label an "up" state, "over" and "out" states, and any otehrs you want. Place stop() scripts to seperate them. Then you can use this kind of script on your MC:
on(rollOver){gotoAndPlay("over")}
on(rollOut){gotoAndPlay("out")}
There ya have it.
cheers

| The extras screen does not come up. Also, the fixtures just sits there with
the names showing. Am I missing something?
