Site Check: Mac & Netscape

| I posted a few days ago and didn't get much feedback from the mac and netscape users. I was also only 99% done my site. Well, happy to say I have completed my first flash site.
Any feed back from mac users and anyone who happens to have netscape installed...or anyone who'd like to.
Thanks everyone.
PS I heard from one mac user that it doesn't work, need more feedback and testing though.

| Hey,
I'm using osx 10.2 with Netscape 7.1.
The site seems to work, yet some things seem strange and I'm unsure if
it's the way u designed it;
• Your splash page is aligned to the right. Since the eye is naturally
drawn to the left of the page, aligning the content right seems to
offset my focal point.
• When entering the graphics/website/illustrations option, the
thumbnails appear about 50 pixels too far left, covering your logo. I
assume this is not intentional because the full sized image also seems
to be the same distance too far left.
...and now my opinion; nice interface, very clean and sharp. What I
don't like is the wait time of your transitions. For me, it's too much
eye-candy. Many people get frustrated when they have to wait for long
download times on pages, and I guess I'm one of them. This wasn't a
matter of long download time, you just made the viewer waste 5 or 6
seconds on each transition...but others might be forgiving of this.
Anyone else share this opinion on the trend towards long-winded
transitions?

Maybe because there aren't actually that many of them left any more...

haha - that's actaully the last person in the world still running Netscape
on a Mac. Lucky they saw your site...
</hoping this is taken in the humorous sprirt in which it was intended,
rather than as a jibe against Macs and/or Netscape>

| Mac / Netscape - looks like the flash detection isn't working
so I couldn't see the site.

| Thanks Big. I have no idea what's happening. Do you know how I can go about fixing that? Have you tried mac and IE, or just mac and net. I would to figure this thing out. Still new at this as you can tell.
Thanks for the help.

I have looked at it in Apple's safari browser = and it cant seem to connect to the server at all! Bit odd!!
However in IE (on Mac) it does load, although the 'enter' screen didn't appear to turn up for ages. Have you got a loading screen set up on it?
After the intro - the page refreshed and changed size but <home.htm> was then a blank page. Just a white page?
Haven't tried it in Netscape yet.
Hope this helps.

| Thanks David.
I don't know what the heck is going on. The mac should work. This is crazy. Any sugestions on what I can do to fix it. I thought I had all my publishing settings set up. I have no idea what's happening.
Thanks
PS Sorry for sounding desperate, but it is totally baffling me.

| Mac OSX 10.3.1 (Panther)
MSIE 5.2.3
Safari 1.1.1
Chimera/Camino (Mozilla) 0.6
Works fine in all of them.
Check the version of the Flash plugin the Mac user is using - it may be too old.

| Looks good in Netscape! Why don't you download Netscape and have it on your
computer also?
