Looks good sept.....
For me the animations are too slow. I would bump up the fps to remove the
jerkyness of the animations.

Yes pretty nice site.

Intro animation a bit - building background - a bit slow for my taste. But all worked fine on my Mac in Safari browser.

Site looks good. Some things to be aware of-

Is there a flash inspector on the index page? If not check out the http://www.moock.org/webdesign/flas...ction/moockfpi/

Make sure your music is royalty free (i got a ceast and desist once)

Try making the popup window (entrance to the high speed site) load in the middle of the screen

I wouldnt even bother with the low speed site

Try using pixel fonts instead of regular fonts. They are crisper.

These are just one mans opinions, other than the points above it looks very classy and if I ever get married again I will hire you :)

I think it's great!

AND!

You are the one to answer this question that I've been asking for a while now....

I'm new to all this

What I want to produce is what you did in two places:

First:

How to add a loading script before the page displays

second:

How to display a page in a specific size (like you did after selecting highspeed or low), a page without the address bar etc...

I've been trying to have these questions answered for a while but it seems like it's too easy for people to do these things to answer me!

Your time would be appreciated!

Thanks,

As for the window size use this action script on the button that is going to be opening the new window.

on (release) {
get URL
java script: window.open('http://www.bertmoniz.com/clip1.htm','_blank','scrollbars=no,width=500,height=400');void(0);Text

Make sure the hilited script is all on one line.

As for the Preloader click on the link below.

Hope this helps.

It did not work. Perhaps I have missed a few steps.

From my button on this page (bottom link) http://homepage.mac.com/gartenmuzik I would like to have the link http://homepage.mac.com/gartenmuzik/es/es.swf display in a window that's w600 and h700

I'm using FlashMX 2004 and everything seems different than any reference I'm suggested.

If you write that code for me with your example, I'll be forever greatful!!!!!!

Sorry, I forgot to mention that you have to embed your es.swf file in an html page.
Do this using Dreamweaver, Frontpage or any other HTML editor.

Your code has been created for you. Notice that that I have changed the es.swf to es.htm in the code.

on (release) {
get Url
javascript: window.open('http://homepage.mac.com/gartenmuzik/es/es.htm','_blank','scrollbars=no,width=500,height=400');void(0);

Don't forget the above code starting from- javascript: window.open('http://homepage
has to be pasted all on one line when you assign the get Url action to your button.

Here is the code with the window dimensions you wanted.
The last code I sent you I forgot to change the width & Height.
It seems I keep forgetting something. I must be getting old.

I give up.... I can't figure out anything in MX 2004 because all the references I have is for MX or 5 and things are truly not the same!

It isn't working giving me this:

**Error** Scene=Scene 1, layer=Layer 1, frame=72:Line 3: Syntax error.
get Url

**Error** Scene=Scene 1, layer=Layer 1, frame=72:Line 4: Syntax error.
javascript: window.open('http://homepage.mac.com/gartenmuzik/es/es.htm','_blank','scrollbars=no,width=500,height=400');void(0);

**Error** Scene=Scene 1, layer=Layer 1, frame=72:Line 6: Unexpected '}' encountered
}

Total ActionScript Errors: 3 Reported Errors: 3

Don't worry, I'll be getting a MX 2004 book soon!

Even the preloader tutorial is for version 5 and I can't navigate through MX 2004 the same way as it is written in the tutorial!

Thank you so very much!
