| I have to agree with the earlier post. Yes you can make your own custom hit
counter, but why not update the styles available in FP? Also, there needs to
be an easier way to view your hit counter without increasing it. The
instructions in the KB don't tell you that you need to transfer the cnt file
from your server to see what the counter actually is, otherwise since the cnt
file is set "do not publish" it never changes so remains 00000 when opened
with notepad. Thanks for listening.

| If you need to reset the hit counter, you have to open the site directly in FP, then open the /cnt
file in notepad and change the count.
Since the hit counter counts each request for the page, any time the page is viewed, the count will
be increased by 1.
Hit counters are basically useless since the count can be increase just refreshing the page.
