Author Question About Forms
Bill G.

2005-05-14, 7:35 pm

I have an event registration form on a website and would like to use PayPal
as a means for submitting payment. The registration has more options than
PayPal allows. I am using a spreadsheet for most of the computations. Is
there a way to code those results so they automatically fill another box that
gets submitted to paypal?
Lastly, can a form be submitted to two places? Example Results to a
committee member and to paypal?
Thanks

Hi Bill,

Not with the intrinsic functionality built into FP.

might want to look into something like aspprotect which can do all of that
for you already

http://www.aspprotect.com/more_info_full_v7.asp

it keeps registration and paypal seperate to a certain degree (its still a
smooth process)
but it allows for your registration system to do whatever you like

I use it for a lot of my clients web sites

I have probably bought 5 licenses so far for my customers.
I like their stuff and it's pretty much all I recommend.

You'll see plenty of posts in the newgroups where I help people with no
mention of ASPProtect but if it fits the solution I sure as hell am going to
mention it.

Thanks for the carification. Can you explain how their product might help
the original poster? I have read the promotional material and don't see a
clean correlation here.

Hi Bill,

Why are you submitting information not required for payment submission to PayPal? I would think that all you need to send is the
user info and total.

You may wish to take a look at http://www.candypress.com It comes with a free PayPal interface.
