Can anyone help me with this (probably) basic query? I have no training in
Dreamweaver, and I had a two day crash course in Fireworks, so this is probably
why I'm having trouble. On my site I have created a navigation bar in Fireworks
and imported it into the main page in Dreamweaver. All the sections are in
layers so that I could line them up how I wanted. Problem is when you hover
over the words "Teams" or "Information" the pop-up (or drop down menu) appears
further on down the page. How do I create it or amend the one I've already made
so that it appears under the relevant word?
The site is at www.firebrandshockeyclub.co.uk
Some of the other pages the layers are not set up correctly so you cannot
access the drop down menu, but will sort this out shortly.

Andrew:

It's unfortunate that the principal user of this flawed menu system is
people just like yourself. Please read this and then reconsider -

So what you're saying is, instead of creating the nav bar, use layers and activate the show/hide option on a mouse over command?
Is this correct?

Yes. It's simple, effective, and easy to implement and maintain.

You will need to use a special method to *close* the submenus once you have
opened them, however, and that's where the concept of the 'closer' layer
comes in. See the Tutorials at the PVII site for more info on this.
