Linking a table cell to a sound file

When a cell in a table linked to a sound file in .au or .wav format is
activated (for instance with "onclick" or "onMouseOver") the Quick Time
plug-in's sound control window and bar appear. Is it possible to prevent this
so as to only hear the sound whenever the cell is clicked on? Attached herewith
is a sample of the offending code:
