Hi,

I have added text to a web page which links to an mp3. In windows explorer
the page brings up a small media player and plays. However in safari the web
page turns white with the quick time player in the midle.

Is there a way to have the song play without changing the web page?

Thanks in advance.
Vince

That's strictly up to the user's configuration. Some IE users will get
the media player, some will get a small media player in a sidebar of the
browser, some may get the new blank page that you're seeing in Safari.
The only way to control it would be to build your own player in
something like Flash.

Vince,

You might want to take a look at this: <a target=_blank

You</a> can customize the colors, size, etc. It's working well for folks with
Windows Media Player and Quicktime defined as their default players, which I
guess covers most people. I had one friend who said he couldn't get it to work
with WinAmp, but I dunno......

And the price is right :)
