I am getting this message in DW8 when attemtping to preview a page in the
browser. Does anyone know why? I searched the db, there is a reference to
Netscape when previewing. I am using IE ior Firefox, and same thing.

Thanks a bunch!!

And what does the message say? That's like going to a mechanic and saying:
"My car is making this noise."

Take care.

Sorry, I listed it under topic. The message says: "The parameter is
incorrect". It has to do with connecting to the web server (this is an
intranet site; I am using the local network). I tried everything, including
copying the same netwrok path as appears on the site definition in DW MX (I
have both versions). I still can't figure out why!!

Just so you'll know, there is no display of "topic" for the people who
access this forum using NNTP. Since most of the answers come from that
group of people, you might want to make your posts contain as much key
information as possible.

Does this help?

Hey Murray,

I am just getting around to responding now. Also, I did not know about NNTP,
so we'll keep in in mind for the next post.

To answer your question, yes, I did apply the 8.0.1 patch. I am still having
server connectivity problems. It does not see the remote server (this is the
intranet, so I am using the local network), when using the 'Expand/Collapse'
button.

What's even more strange is that I do not have any problems when opening the
very same site using MX. Any other suggestions?

All the best,

Gustavo

Have you clicked on the Connect icon?

How is your remote server specified in the remote site's definition?
