| I have a list of radio buttons. At the end, there is a radio button for Other
and a text field to fill in the details. How do I make the text field required
when the Other radio button is selected?

| You would have to do that server side, not client side.

| Anything that *cannot* fail must be done on server side.

Or the other way round: Everything that runs on the client-side _must_
be considered optional and _insecure_.
