| Hi Everyone,
Several months ago, i had to uninstall Dreamweaver (for reasons that I don't
even remember at this point), but I had to do it before my new version was
installed. I had about six sites in the old version, and now, of course, I need
to make updates, and I can't figure out how to get them into the new version
(MX 2004) because I never exported them from the old version (MX). What should
I do?
Thanks for your help!

| Not much you can do except start from scratch. Some one may be able to tell
you how to get the info from the registry if using windows.

| Create 6 new sites in DW, and make each one point at the root folder of the
old site's files. You will have to re-enter the FTP info for each, though.

| Thanks, Murray. That sounds like a solution that might not be too painful. The
sites are already live, though. Given that they already exist on my remote
server, is there any other solution you can think of?
Thanks again,
Rachel

| Uninstalling DW wouldn't have removed the files from your hard drive. You
should still be able to point to them. Of course you could always download the
files that are on the remote server and save them to your hard drive, but that
would create on your hard drive duplicate copies of every file in the site.
(You would have the files in both "harddrive/oldlocation" and
harddrive/newlocation")
