| I keep getting the message that " a homepage hasn't been specified" in a site
that has a frameset as the index{home} page.
This is new to the latter Dreamweaver products it seems as i didn't get it
before upgrading to 8.
I've saved the frameset as 'home' but still get the message box if i try to
get a map view. Don't get the same problem with a site that doesn't use frames.
Any clues??

| One reason not to use frames. Frames are bad. According to "Murray ACE" I
can't remember the URL as to why.

That message means that you haven't specified which file in your local site
is actually your homepage. I believe you only get it when you are using
filenames that are not normally used for homepages. You can dismiss this by
right clicking on a file in the local site's file list and set it as the
homepage.
This would only affect DW's ability to draw a site map for you - it has no
other impact on the site....
