Author MySQL Connection Problem

After many days of no sleep I reaching out to who ever can help me. I'm trying
to connect to my data base on a remote server were my site is hosted using
Dreamweaver 8. I have all the connection and testing server set correctly,
however when I go to test the connection I get an error saying "Lost Connection
To mysql Error 2013" Can anyone help me out with this one?
