Help needed!! Dreamweaver has ceased to load correctly

| Hi (again!)
I'm having SERIOUS problems with Dreamweaver 8. Upon starting up the programme
3 days ago I was presented with a very worrying error!
"../Configuration/common/script/dwScriptsExtData.js - Reference Error:
dwscripts is not defined"
This renders the programme un-usable.
I've already posted this once and nobody replied :( ... Not sure why cause
personally I'd of thought that a broken copy of Dreamweaver was much more
important than tables not aligning!! Anyway.
I've been drastically trying to fix the problem I have a very hectic work load
at the moment. It's a nightmare!!
I've uninstalled Dreamweaver, then rebooted, then re-installed Dreamweaver.
that didn't work, so I updated my Java applet (not sure why!!) and no
surprises, that din't work.
I've tried installing the product from a fresh copy of the download and so
forth but NOTHING is working.
I seriously need help.
Could anyone please advise me as to what I can do to solve the problem? And if
you can't help, who should I contact?
Thankyou in advance.

| You can try this simple fix -
Quit DW.
Find this file -
C:\Documents and Settings\<username>\Application Data\Macromedia\Dreamweaver
8\Configuration\WinFileCache-*.dat
(these folders are normally hidden - you may have to use Explorer > Tools >
Folder Options to unhide them)
and delete it.
Restart DW. Works better?
