Hello,
I am wondering if there is any way I can specify the browser's width and
height for my index page (when a user first enters my site). I know how to
force the size on a new browser window opened from a Dreamweaver link but I
can't for the life of me remember how to do it for my index page (or remember
if it is possible). It isn't a crucial element to my website, but it would help
maintain the integrity of my design.

Try using javascript. Look at the following link for help on DOM references for the "window" object:

Place the following code in the <head> of your page in code view...

<script type="text/javascript">
window.resizeTo(800,600);
</script>
