Export form data from DW MX 2004 to excel

| I'd like to be able to Export data from my site to a Excel. Is this do-able
with DW MX 2004? Client is a Head Hunter wanting her clients to fill out a
form, which in turn she would like to plug the info into an Excel worksheet.
Thank you in advance for taking up your time,
Jan:confused;

| How are you currently processing the form data?

| I'm not. I guess I wanted to know if it was possible?

| Yes, it's possible. You would do it in the form handler's script.

| Is there a tutorial you could point me too? Or can I find it in the dreamweaver book?
Thanks again for your help,
Jan

| I don't know of a tutorial, other than to direct you to general tutorials on
the scripting language supported by your host.
Once the form data is posted to the processing script, that script would
need to open a file using the remote file system, and then write each form's
data field into that file, separated by commas, with a carriage return at
the end of the data. That's pretty simple. The trick is to understand the
scripting language well enough to implement it.
