| I cannot get Dreamweaver to recognize Fireworks as the image editor. I keep
getting this message: "Unable to launch Macintosh HD: Macromedia Fireworks
8:Fireworks 8.app. Please be sure that this application exists and that there
is enough memory to run it."
I have searched the knowledgebase and every place I can think of and I've
found only one suggestion for this problem, and that was to trash and then
reinstall DW and FW, with FW going in first, followed by DW, so that DW will
recognize FW. I have done that twice now and it is still not working.
I also thought maybe it was not recognizing the path, so I deleted FW as my
image editor and then re-added it, also to no avail. I don't know what to do at
this point, but I definitely need these two to be working together!. Help,
please. I have to believe I'm not the only one having this problem. I have also
installed the updater, and it didn't make any difference. I'm ready to tear my
hair out!
I'm on a PowerBook G4 with 1G of RAM, 80G HD, lots of room, running
Dreamweaver 8 and Fireworks 8.
