| I've just uploaded a Quicktime pro movie that I created to my host. However, I
can't get it to open. On the desk top the movie runs perfectly, but when I
open it from the local host in DW MX, it wants to open OS 9. I'm using the
latest version of quicktime pro and running OS 10.3.9. I'm not sure what to do
next.
My movie is titled white suits slide show and is found at
www.yosemitecollection.com
Please help.
Thanks,
Hugh

| I am using Mac OS 10.4.4 and I have Quicktime Pro 7. Your movie does not load
for me. There must be a problem with the movie. Could you post step-by-step
how you exported the movie and what type of a movie you saved this file as. I
have feelings about what the problem might be until I hear how you saved this
movie.

| Thanks for your response
My movie is a slide show that I created using IView Media Pro. IView will
convert it to a quicktime movie. It is about 182 MB however, I have plenty of
room on my host. Essentially I had Iview create a quicktime movie of some
digital images. I then dropped the quicktime file into my local folder and
created a link to it. I then uploaded the quicktime mov. file to my remote
host. What is strange is that when I open the quicktime file from the local
host pull menu in Dreamweaver it trys to open OS 9. When I open the same file
just in my web folder it runs perfectly? I've double checked my link to make
sure it directed to the correct file and it looks good.
