Author Scripts and templates

I have set up a separate JavaScript file which my pages link to, it helps keep
the pages cleaner.

I also use templates to make developing the site and making changes easier.

For some pages when I update the template some of the scripts that I have
removed are reinstated. I think it is when there is something on the page that
requires the scripts, so I then have to delete these.

Is there anyway from stopping this happening?

Any help much appreciated.

Sorry - I don't think so. DW is a bit stupid about external js files.

Please submit a request to the dev team for it!
