| I am trying to connect my db to my test webpage by dreamweavor 8. I get to the
connection of the database and I am getting lost. First it as for the db2, sql,
mysql.... I am using Squirrel SQL. So would I click on the custom jdbc
connection? Second it ask for driver and URL, im not sure what I should put in
here? I am running this under tomcat.

| Not knowing anything about Squirrel SQL, I'm going to take some guesses, but
they should be pretty close.
Yes, you would select custom JDBC connection. The URL is whatever the
vendor says it should be for their JDBC driver, and it will be in the docs
from the vendor. You should get a copy of the JAR file for the driver and
place it in C:\Program Files\Macromedia\Dreamweaver
8\Configuration\JDBCDrivers (for Windows, similar location for Mac under
Applications : Macromedia : etc...) so DW can use it during design time to
connect to your database.
That should do it. Shouldn't be too much more beyond that.
Best regards,
Chris
