Hey all,

Nice easy one this (sorry for being a bit of a novice!)

I've created a PHPBB discussion forum at one of these free messageboard sites,
but have also registered my own domain name. The only thing I want on my site
is the aforementioned forum.

So basically, what I want to happen is that when you go to my site the Message
Forum loads but, to all intents and purposes, appears to be on my site rather
than re-directing you to the free PHPBB URL (if you see what I mean). And I
want it to stay looking like my site regardless of where you navigate within
the forum itself.

Does that make sense? I'm sure its pretty easy to do, but its been a while
since I did web design!

You can't do that when you remotely host your forum. The only way around that
is to use a URL mask, but those are really tricky.

Does your host have Fantastico? If it does, you can easily walk through the
phpBB installation there, or if not you could always just have someone set it
up for you. If you want me to set it up for you just email me at
snakeyez002@yahoo.com and I would be more than willing to set it up for you.
It would only take about 10-15 minutes tops.

Thanks for that.

Sadly my host is rubbish and will not support any kind of server-side database
or scripting, so PHP is out. But hey, it was a free domain!

I'm trying to convince them they want to redirect the domain as a server-side
operation, but they seem a bit unsure about that too...
